REFLECTIONS OF HUMAN SPIRIT. LET THE SEARCH FOR UNDERSTANDING NOT BE PASSED BY, BUT INSTEAD EXPLORED TO ITS FULLEST. MY PAINTINGS ARE EXPRESSIONS OF THE SEARCH WITHIN MYSELF.

by the way, your reaction to what the subject is experiencing is exactly what I'm trying to get the viewer to associate with. Our form which is so recognizable as self is probably the most insignificant part of being yet we have made it our reality, only reality, if you put it in the time line context it is self for 80 years of billions, yet because it can "recognize" self it becomes the only self. The balance which I believe has been lost is 1. to recognize self in the context of form and 2. just as importantly if not more so, to recognize self in the context of no form, i.e. time spent skiing or swimming or what ever and also ( and this part we seem to neglect) time spent with the consciousness on its terms in its space with out the distractions of our "man made" world.
Its to bad that civilizations which did this have been all but eliminated by western philosophy and the industrial military complex, largely by force.
What I find so possible is that in the name of evolution, where the process has involved physical, and biological evolution out of necessity, instinctive evolution per say, we as a species now have the potential to make conscious efforts through practice, trial and error, to evolve. Instead we make better fuel efficient cars and bigger weapons and fatter fish and call the advancing the species.
Take that to your professors,
by the way, it may be tuff to sit through if your not into it but, a great movie to help understand some of the physics and philosophy of today is "What the bleep do we know" you should be able to rent it, the funny thing is this stuff all came about in 1905.   100 years later and it as though its some big secret,
Take care, good luck.
Foot note: Now does not exist, what does is an endless stream of what is about to be.
