art of passion and pleasure, figurative color by Brian Morrison
Eyes close, eyes open
Inviting in, dreams begin
Lines trace the form, your face
Lines of beauty lines of grace
Colors of blue reflecting light
Collapsing my breath
Exhausting my might
Finger tips follow, soft in their search
Forever in moments engraved in the light
Everlasting in questions
Follow my mind in a touch
Each wonder to know, maybe a sign
Crying desire shut in a box
Pacing to hold, tracing a thought
Rivers of motion race back then forth
Walking in silence, hiding or not
Eyes open, eyes close
Starting in motion again and again
Restless flurry in search of a switch
To shut feeling, feeling cannot resist
Cycling feelings, silent echo’s of pain
Emotional movement
Caught in a rain
Fixing my brain, as it surfaces again
The next time will come
Like sounds of the wind
Louder than thunder
Or softly, may sing
If only, I try wishing
Wishing thought would just stop
The beauty in lines my wish
Eyes open, eyes close tomorrow again.
